“oh, you troll.” i stick my entire face into the blooms, and he laughs. it’s beautiful, i really do love second-chance romances and naomi and nicholas are exactly why. nicholas was willing to right his previous wrongs in more ways than one. That “small” gesture of flowers and a valentine’s day brunch honestly shows how much their relationship had grown, how much it had improved, and how it was only going to be better. this is the perfect ending for their story, it’s the perfect moment to close the curtain and imagine the rest of their lives. Genuine tears right here and right now man.Īlthough i wish this small epilogue, novella, or short story (what have you) was much, much longer than just a mere two to three pages in total- this seems like the perfect conclusion for naomi and nicholas’ story.Īfter all that struggle, all those arguments, all those bitter feelings they are finally happy, they have come to a finale where they are both genuinely and truly happy while still remaining the funny, charismatic people they have always been. “you’re awful.” i hug my flowers to my chest and bounce a little.
